How I “Discovered” These Parenting Principles

About 20 years ago my husband and I created a process that we started using to help adults “undo” issues they’d tried to overcome for many years, such as anxiety, shyness, procrastination, fear of public speaking and depression.

We call this process The Lefkoe Method and have used it to help over 12,000 clients eliminate these and many other problems. What we found pretty consistently is that most of the issues adults have were caused by beliefs they formed as children after observing their parents’ behavior.

As a result we’ve seen over and over again the connection between a parent’s behavior, the beliefs their children form, and the way these beliefs affect their children when they grow older.

My husband and I have used this knowledge to raise our two daughters and teach hundreds of others how to help their children grow up to have high levels of self-esteem and a healthy outlook on life.
